In 2015, Rakibul Hassan (everyone calls him Shahin) and his wife Mitu started Layer Edits from their home in Bangladesh. Just two desks, two computers, and a belief that small businesses shouldn't have to pay enterprise prices for quality photo editing.
They both had years of photo editing experience and saw a gap. Big agencies charged too much. Cheap freelancers delivered inconsistent work. So they built something in between: reliable quality at prices that make sense for growing businesses.
Those early clients took a chance on them. Shahin and Mitu made sure they never regretted it. Word spread. Clients came back with bigger orders. And they started hiring talented editors who shared their values.
Today, Layer Edits has grown to 75+ editors serving 2,500+ clients in 30+ countries. The team got bigger, but the commitment didn't change: quality work, fair prices, and treating every client like they matter - because they do.
